My laptop stopped working, what's most likely to be wrong with it?
I have an Alienware laptop which kept turning itself off. I think it was too hot. I unplugged the power from the back and when I replugged it there was a large spark.
Now there is no power whatsoever to the laptop, not even the charge light. The power adapter works fine and the plug's fuses are fine.

Goodness ..... if you Laptop was hot, it only indicates that some chip on the Board was malfunctioning. To make thing worse the spark might have damaged the motherboard partially or damaged the Isolation circuit or just the power supply unit on the laptop. Hence you need to take it to the Hardware repair center for furthur assitance.
