Alienware m15x is it good?
I am going to be ordering the alienware m15x and i config the way i wanted to. Here are my configs
Intel Core i7 720QM 1.6GHz (2.8 GHz Turbo Mode, 6MB Cache)
6GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1333MHz 1 x 2048MB + 1 x 4096MB
15.6-inch Wide FHD 1920x1080 (1080p) WLED
1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M
320GB SATAII 7,200RPM
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English
Dell Wireless 1520 802.11n Half Mini Card
Internal Bluetooth 2.1 Mini-Card - 2.1 Enhanced Data Rate
Plus all the other basic stuff like dvd burn software, and webcam stuff. And dell is throwing in a 50$ gift card which will expire in 90 days. the total came out to be 1883.85 thats including my shipping and handleing and tax. Is it a good price for this beast laptop.
If you are using it for for a gaming and stuff like that then yes. If your not using it for you are wasting money on the GTX 260M graphics card. You can get that same laptop from Dell (this is from Dell Canada) for $1499 CAD (without tax) which should be cheaper in USD. With a ATI HD 5730 and Blu Ray. Link here in source, it's the laptop on the far left. You are getting your moneys worth, but just giving you a heads up that you can turn a gaming graphics card into a Good HD one and some gaming and a Blu-Ray.
